What is the best way to save money on home organizaton?

Well, the firt thing you need to do is have a plan. One of the things that was recently done as an experiment was to see if I could organize an area in the office for under $100 dollars.

That seemed like it may be a large task, and hard to do, expecially when you consider the costs of storage, and finding ways to get storage that looks beautiful, and functional.

I did some checking at places like pottery barn, Ikea, and other design stores, and for a simple box about the size of 12×12, you’d be amazed at the costs. The average was about $25 for a storage container of that size.

The other thing I was trying to do was get some nice desk organizers to make it all come together.

The room is brown, do I was looking for rich chocolate tones of brown and leather.

When you are looking for best ways to save money, what you need to be aware of is the idea that you can find good items but you need to look.

What I found was a nice desk set at Ross discount store, and I also went to Target.

At Ross, I was able to find a set of office organizers for $31.

Then I went to Target for the big organizers.  What I love about target is they have a great eye for design. and they are budget priced.

What I found was a set of collapsible cloth lined storage boxes. and, they were on close out for 10 bucks each.

I purchased 6 of them for a total of $60.

When I got home, I moved things around, put all the junk in the boxes, and the place looked like everything was meant to be.

Not bad for $100.

The thing to remember again when you want to save money on home organization…

Plan ahead,

take a look at magazines for ideas.

shop expensive stores for ideas.

hit the discount shops for the deals.
